Extensive experience and training in most surgical specialities, including trauma,
orthopaedics and plastic surgery. Training in many medical specialities while
specialist senior registrar in West Midlands Accident and Emergency training programme.

Consultant in Accident and Emergency since 1988 and clinical director at Edgware
and Barnet Hospitals from 1991-1997.

The author of many publications in recognised medical journals.

SPECIAL INTERESTS

Soft Tissue injuries including neck sprains, sports injuries, facial lacerations and hand injuries.

Protective clothing in sports. I am the Royal College of Surgeons representative on the
European Safety Committee for protective sports equipment and head protection for
equestrian users.
